Maggie White performed publicly from 1969 to 1991 in such diverse area as Los Angeles, CA, Tahoe, CA, Fresno, CA, and Sacramento, CA, at venues such as Once In a Blue Moon, the Fox and Goose, and at The Palms in Davis, CA, as well as in all the little mountain towns along the “Mother Lode Circuit.” Maggie played in a variety of group, but found the most fulfillment when finally going solo to headline her own concerts and write and perform her own songs. Maggie opened for many musical greats such as B.B. King, Doc Watson, Elvin Bishop, Norton Buffalo, Taj Mahal, Tret Fure, and Charlie Musselwhite. Maggie comes from a very musical family heritage. She has been singing since she was quite young, performing in choirs in school, and learning guitar at age eleven. “It is in my blood,” she says.
